If anyone were to ask me who those people are in the posted covention pictures I would resond with.........
"They are the toughest sons-a-bitches you could ever have the honor of knowing."
I spent my entire day locked in my office trying to de-esculate a 22 year old girl. A 22 year old girl in crisis, addicted to benzos, oxys, heroin, has a host of psyche issues and was coming off a two day coke run, She was going to kill herself . 22 years old.
Tonight she is safe and in treatment.
All week I was questioning why I was being kept from the convention? Maybe I got my answer today.
This will not however deter me from locating my bosses residence and burning a cross on the front lawn while dancing around it, rattling cow bones and wearing a tin foil hat. Check the news at 11.
Anyone who lives with our pain deserves to meet that incredible person sitting to the left and right of you right now. All of you are amongst the elite of compassionate and loving people. The people at the OUCH 03 convention set the standard for what community and caring is all about. I mean this from the bottom of my heart.
Altough I am unable to be with you guys physically, I am am with you in spirit. Strangers are simply friends we have not yet met. This weekend you have met them. Yup! The strangest bunch of friends you will ever have. LOL
HAVE A FUCKING BLAST !

Don, I have pictures of me with other clusterheads and that's exactly what I tell people who ask me who they are.

You just never know about stuff like that and that's probably a good thing.
It's Sat morning and I'm still waiting to find my reason for being kept away.
