Update on Slammy

I just talked to slammy and he is home as of friday.
He had a room-mate from hell and said......."get me outta here. The 3-hour surgery went well but he's feeling like shit right now. The Morphine has made him sick to his stomach and the pain is pretty bad, so he hasn't been able to make it to the computer. He says to say hi, and he'll try to post in a few days.
The upside is that he hasn't been hit. Yee-haw..
Lets bombard him with good vibes.......

Awesome to hear he's not getting hit though!! That, in itself, is almost worth the cost of surgery. OK, maybe not - but still great news.

Slammy......what can I say.....
those lips.... those eyes............those KNEES.....LOL!
I feel for ya my friend... get rid of the morphine... take 3 or 4 advil.... I know the knees gotta HURT!! I got very bad knees... they are in pain of some sort all the time...only a matter of time before I'll have to have them looked at again....
Here are some healing thoughts and some strength and an antiemetic thrown in for good measure! Come on back soon's ya feel able......but, don't forget, you CAN get away with a little extra "take care of me and pamper me" time if you work it just right! Once you're feeling better, being confined to bed can be a GOOD thing! As any good slam hound should know!
