Occipital Nerve Stimulation

I know there is already a thread about Hypothalmus implants, but I didn't want to post there because the thread is getting really long and there are so many arguments that I didn't want to be in the middle of it...
The point of this post is what I have learned, so far, about Occipital Nerve Stimulation.
I am a chronic CH sufferer.... I have tried every med in the book with no success. I have not tried shrooms for various reasons, but it is on my "to try" list once I run out of some other options.
I read about the occipital nerve stimulation procedure and was intrigued. I searched the internet and found Dr. Dodick's email address. I emailed him and told him of my condition and asked about the procedure.
Dr. Dodick specifically told me that one particular patient was having 5 clusters a day while on many meds. He has now been cluster free for over 18 months.
He told me that he would be willing to see me and consider me for the procedure. I am flying out there next weekend and will go for an evaluation with him and 2 other Drs at the May Clinic, Scottsdale.
After that... I don't know.... Depends on whether I am suitable for the procedure and if I want to go ahead after I hear everything they have to say.
I will have a laptop with me on my trip. My appointments are on Tuesday, July 22nd. I don't fly home until Wednesday, so I will try to get on and post Tuesday night to let you know what happens.
