I was just wondering.  I have not come across sunburn and clusters ever.

Is it possible that swollen and sunburnt feet can irritart my clusters?  What should I ask the neuro? ???

On the whole, stay out of direct sun. It's why they make parasols.

Can't be clusters because of sunburn!
I hardly ever get a tan because the skin on my face is so thick (just about the only bit of me that is).

But I commiserate with you & your swollen toes.

Try a people shaped parasol next time...

Kim, I'm with you on the clusters and sunburn.  After spending 3 or 4 hours in the sun on the 4th got meself a nasty sunburn and a cluster to go with it that night, and then a lovely migraine and nausea to go with all day yesterday Sad

Clark thought I had sun poisoning, but I'm just red, not purple.

Hope your burn gets better and your head relents.

Use aloe, if you have it, straight from the plant.  Works everytime on burns Smiley

I started CH in my 40's

The only prior event of massive head pain was as a kid ...after a sunburn...I still recall the fetal position and the terror in my head

...I've often wondered if whether the pyschedelics in the ensuing years unknowingly kept the beast at bay till I "matured" past those childish chemical pilgrimages.

I've always considered you a rare specimen Kim....even well done at times....when the pain and swelling subsides.... you'll be more appealling.

Good grief

I've been sunburned head to toe every year since I was born 56 years ago. It is required by law for living in the desert.

The first 27 years I did not have cluster headaches.

The last 4 years I did not have any cluster cycles.

I have no idea what any of this means. But I do know that I have shed a lot of skin in my lifetime.

Charlie..........parasols?  Cheesy That has to be the very first time in the history of the whole world that the word parasols was used at this web site.  Roll Eyes

Kim.......we have long been aware of your fat toes. We just prefer not to talk about them.  Grin

Kimmy, ya got 9 more toenails left ........ perhaps by the time ya make it through them all the headache and sunburn will have gone away.  The swollen toes will have disapearred as well, cause to get your foot to your mouth would raise it above your heart.  Raising the offending appendage above your heart reduces swelling.

Oh yuck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!  sure hope ya feetsies feel better soon ....... and your head too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey OneEye,
What will happen if I'm "excited" and laying on my back?
That appendage rule doesn't apply, does it?  Grin

I tried to have a "romantic" escape with a cold rag on my shoulder too. Well, actually she was on my back all the time and not my shoulder.

Oppps! I missed the offending word. I don't think mine is offensive and hope not. Nobody's ever said anything about it being offensive.

PS, what does odious mean? I've heard that word before.

Kim!  When did you start getting hit???????  I'm so sorry hun!

As far as sunburn goes... I got badly burned once (to the point where the lines on my ankles lasted for about a year and a half.  My whole lower legs from the knee to the ankle where my socks started was one whole blister... they filled up in the shower... had to open up the blisters at the bottom to let the water out.)  Didn't get a cycle then... so, if yer getting hit... I'd say it's coincidence.

My last two cycles ended a day or two after getting a sunburn. It was at a time when my cycle would have been ending, anyways.
