I'm not much of a gambler. I once bet on a horse race and it won, so I've tried to maintain my 1 and 0 record for life. I'm up $5. I probably blew it on beer. If I had just bought one share of Microsoft stock with it instead...

Can a Missourian/St Louisan get an invite to this meet & greet? We've been known to travel to meet clusterheads. Jim ps I promise I won't mention the Cubs.

Ok , here's an idea..... Since there are a couple of us who are actually thinking of traveling. Even though Chicago seems to be the closest, maybe we can find a more central location that everyone would be able to make a little more easily. Not that Chicago is a bad choice, I was just thinking maybe there is something a little more south-west that would be easier for Cat and Jim to make and save us ALL the hassle of driving in Chicago. That alone is enough to make me cringe in fright. Not volunteering to organize , but, maybe we could meet in IOWA say the Quad Cities. It would cut down driving time for those west (like nebraska, and minnesota), and only lengthen it an hour or so for those who are south of Chicago like St. Louis. its only one or two hours west of Rockford where Woobie and I are. And its alot less of a hassle to get around since woobie and I are originally from there we would know where to go. Ramon

I AM A GENIUS!!! While I was in the shower just now, I had a BRILLIanT idea.. (if i do say so meself!!) I used to work at a casino in Bettendorf, IA. It's now the Isle of Capri (was Lady Luck) ... but I still have LOTS a juice there.. and could pull some strings.. They have a hotel... they have restaurants.. they have gambling (gambling BAD!).. and it could be a place where the out-of-towners could stay.... the hotel is awesome!! They also have meeting rooms.. anddddddd... i could maybe pull some strings and get cheap hotel rooms...... especially if it's not on a weekend... http://www.isleofcapricasino.com/Bettendorf/ whatcha think?? tina
