Melissa, I have asthma, have had since I was 2. I am 31 now and have had most of the treatment regimens in my time. Currently I use albuterol for rescue/or relief purposes and I use Advair 2 x a day. Advair has been a literal breath of fresh air for me. Since starting it I almost never use my Albuterol (but am never without it on hand.) Hope this helps. Mail me if you have any other questions.

Thanks Josh. I was hoping that it wasn't a common condition for clusterheads, as I had read in another thread that someone was given an inhaler when they were a kid that helped with their cluster attacks. I could only hope it'd be that simple... P.S. my husband has severe asthma, his mom died from an attack, so I'm pretty educated on it. It's a horrible condition to live with, very scary... especially if you're a spouse. (Advair has been a wonder for my husband also!)
