Another alternative treatment

Okay, my doc offered to refer me to another doc who will prescribed medicinal marijuana. I know there a thousand legal issues with this, and am really too old to be a pot-head, but I would like to hear if anyone has tried it and gotten results. Please just e-mail me if you're hesitant to post. Seems to me pot is more of a vaso-dialator if its vaso-active at all. talithak@gmail.com thanks kathy

Thats not going to help with the headaches. Maybe help with anxiety, but thats about it. May be even a headache trigger. I'd find a new doctor! UNsolved

I've tried this while in cycle and it did seem to be a trigger for me. I've stayed away from it for that reason.

It's a trigger for me, while in cycle. I don't remember anyone ever saying that could help. Sophie

That treatment has been talked about many times in the past. About 95% said it will trigger a cluster attack. 4% said nothing happened. And 1 percent said "Friggin' pot-heads! They'll come up with any excuse to get loaded." That's the Republicans talking.

Marijuana has never been a trigger for me and I'm chronic. Can't touch booze, but weed's all good. Shit, I wish my doc will give me some of that stuff, even though it doesn't help for CH.

Ganja, for me, intensifies most physical sensations. I can only imagine what it would do for CH! Not good.... (fortunately, I am episodic)

Thanks for your responses. As I thought, not a good idea. My doctor is actually tring everything she can-as she is not a neuro in the VA system her options are limited. She was just offering knowing that I would research before I acted. I can jyst imagine, getting high after 20 some odd years and then getting blasted. No way, no thanks. Thanks anyway, PFDAN to y'all, kathy

lol its funny at one time i thought and this is a while back, that it was crappy green that gave me theses head aches , the fact is i cant smoke the good stuff its a instant trigger now all i can smoke is the low grade green not that im a pot head its only once or twice a month. and one more thing if it were up to the republicans we'd all be locked in our homes with no rights at all while they milk the country of all the money they can get in there pockets sorry about that but i had to say it nothing personal bob.

Hi, I don't mind a little green every now and then but I'd have to agree with Frank - would definately intensify a hit. However I don't find it is a trigger as such. Sometimes after a tough night I'll have a little and I find it helps me to calm down a bit. Fear of the next hit and all. Kinda nice to have something to take the edge off. Kate
