Hi all. I have been getting hit hard since July, and using the regular stuff...procardia, o2 and zomig. Finally got in to see my doc 10 days ago. She suggested a couple new things, which I immediately went out and got. Oddly, I have not even had one shadow since that day. I had a shadow when I went in to see her. Fluke? Coincidence? Luck? Who knows. But I thought I would check in and see if anyone else has tried this. First, we doubled the dose of the procardia to 120mg/day. Still a low dose. Started a prednisone pack, starting at 40mg/day. Usual stuff. Started 200mg of Coenzyme Q10. For cellular energy production in the heart. She said something about energy and it being released and causing the headache.....?? Started magnesium. Bought it in a combo of Calcium, Mag, Zinc and D. Mag is 400mg/day. She said take it at night cause it would make me sleepy. EVERYTHING makes me sleepy! Added 5-HTP on my own. 50mg/day. Just looked good! It is 5-Hydroxytryptophan (from Griffonia simplicifolia)(seeds) promotes balanced serotonin levels. Nothing really exciting. But still, I haven't even had a shadow. Maybe I am just done with this round. But I thought I would share, just in case....you know.... Hope everyone is doing well. PFDAN to all. Big Hugs .....Little Deb http://www.havahartpetrescue.petfinder.com please spay/neuter your pets.

| Oh...bother. Got a "free" cat this summer. Cost $300 in shots and neuterectomy. Brought him home, and he chased off my wife's cat, the other "free" one with $300 worth of shots and a neuterectomy. Shit. The first thing either of them cat's would've done was eat me, if they were 6 feet long. After a slow death. Bastids. And I'm still stuck with a cat and a dog. For at least a decade. Shit. Glad yer not dead, Deb. Jonny was jonesin.... Haven't tried CoEnzyme Q10 . On topic, RJ

Nice to hear from you. Little Deb I take 200mg COQ10 daily. and 750mg magnesuim at night. I also take 400mg B2, 2000mg fish oil and honkin prenatal vitamin and extra iron. I've been taking 200mgCOQ10 for over a year. first recommended by my HA doc. Does it help? Never really sure to be honest.. It doesn't hurt...and right now I'm on no prevents and minimal aborts so I'm not really willing to switch things around. I hope it is helping you! Be well and PF! -lionsound

I began CoQ10 at the same time as melatonin. Have had only a couple of nighttime hits since that. Is it one or the other, or the combination? Don't know but not gonna mess with a good thing. Kim
