Anybody know if the Taurine in Red Bull will temper the effectiveness of Kudzu? I tried searching all the Kudzu threads but was unable to find anything definitive.

Hi slacker, kudzu is still pretty new, so there is a lot we don't know. Floridian's research ( available in his book - I'll link it below) says that taurine has calcium channel blocking properties. Kudzu also has calcium channel blocking properties, as does verapamil (in a more powerful way). The concern would be regarding blood pressure and heart rate. Red Bull has worked as an effective abortive for a few of us. Kudzu has worked as an excellent preventative for many of us. Kudzu and oxygen is the best combo IMHO. Good luck and keep us posted, OK? pain free wishes, nani edited to add the link...DOH! http://med-owl.com/clusterheadaches/tiki-index.php?page=HomePage&PHP SESSID=5129351cd10ca75e3853b437565d1a93

Hey Slack, I'm a BIG proponent of both. Kudzu as a preventative and RedBull as an abortive. It works wonder for me. Do search the threads. Ozzy

Tacked into my brain bulletin board: O2 Kudzu and yesterday I did pound an ice cold Red Bull as I was turning on the O2 tank. Hey it all worked. Hit negated before it could go beyond a kip 3. Stared the beast down and it slinked off like the swarmy dog it is.

Hey Slacker! I have also been using zu and red bull as an abort but as well I have been taking Pred. The combo has been working great for me! Check out my post as The Zu and Prednisone? PFDN to Slacker! Chris
