ive had ch for over 15yrs , i figured that out by finding this page as ive said thank you all , why dont doctors just give us the least expensive med why do they stuff theses high cost toxic tablets at us like relpax for instance ive talk to and raed that this pill wich mind you in the usa is over $20 dollars a pill,it is an abortive but it works for a very short amount of time if at all for some where do they get that price wheres the justification for it its total dud drug yet every doctor ive seen has tried to get me to buy it or they always shoot for the most costly drug to turn you on to i know theres cheaper more effective meds ive read up on some of of them but what really gets me is o2 it works for most if not the majority of CH suffers out there , but your have to pull fucking teeth to get a doctor to give it to ya its insane most of the drugs they give us are dangerous as hell to take over long term and might just make things worse for some , theres a tone of alternative meds out there hell some grow in our yards yet we have been brain washed into thinking its bad to take them, your wrong its agianst the law, ect ect , who the fuck is running the show who has our best interest at heart, my opinion is the keep us sick and feed us pills and shots so someone gets rich while we suffer is it just me have i lost my mind.
i read alot here and other palces i see the same words over and over, its not working, or i cant get that, i feel sick, i feel trapped in my meds. i have CH and i know belive me i know it fucking hurts like nothing else on earth , man it kills me to see so many suffer but it makes me real fucking mad that someone is screwing us over and getting rich off it , they ban pot the ban mushrooms they ban anything that is free or can be free in the name of money and not our needs how long will this pitiful country of great people allow this to go on it makes me angry and so sad at the same time.
please dont take this as me calling anyone weak im not hell ch suffers have to some of the stongest people i have ever met im taken back by the courage i see and read here . im just mad i guess and feel with good reason and i needed to voice it and i know you here my relate to it thankls for leting me rave and have a place to rave.
there are asnwers out there better one we just have to fight for it.
so what do you all think?

Don't you understand? It's the pharmaceutical companies who run our entire medical care system in this country. They dictate to the doctors, to the government (just think about all the money they contribute to their favorite candidate), and to each and every one of us who need affordable medical care. I say, to hell with the pharmaceutical companies - give us quality meds at fair prices. It is our right as citizens.

Well Dude, I was thinking about posting almost the same message as you. So do not feel bad about ranting & raving, I think 90% of us are in this boat, and its sinking fast.
I saw a new Nero Dr, on Thurs. The Guy understood and agreed with me about being Dx with CH.
I asked about the O2, and all the other Prevents & Aborts listed here.. I mean the people here have many, many years on the drug company studies, about CH. My Nero Dr says "Oh well I want you to try this, and if it does not work call me on Tues and let me know" well I just called and told the lady in the office that the meds did not work and she was like "SUPRISED"..
Anyways beside the point she tells me this am , when I asked for the Dr to get me the O2 script & letter to the Ins Comp., she tells me "We usually don't do that" ??
What the hell does she mean.. ??? I asked her, " where am I supposed to get the O2 script "She tells me from the Dr". Yea ok .. ???
I agree, what am I ?? a "DRUG ADDICT" cause I just want O2. ?? and not the $20 pill first. ?? (that I might need 3 or 4 times a day).
I really do not know which way to go either, but I tell you I know it would be an uphill battle, but I wish there was a Lawyer, that would just handle things like this.
I love this country and I do not want to live any where else, but rights "YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS HERE".
You either take what they want you to try, or spend the F--king night rolling around on the floor by yourself, with nothing.
I dunno, I do not want to jack this thread. I am sorry CAZMAN, I agree with you 100%.. Thanks for the space..

You're right Caz, but I think it's pretty complex, too.
I think some of it is that we have an almost mythical view of doctors.... we go in sick and we expect them to fix us, like they're magicians or something.
They're glorified car mechanics really.... only they work on organic machines, not metal ones.
Some ARE really good.
The biggest misconception is that when we walk into their office, we are their number one priority. We're NOT. We get to thinking that they will do ANYTHING to help us and that isn't true... and that's not a slam on the doctors, it's just reality. Their number one priority is to their family, their wives, their kids. In today's world, they have to bring home the money. Giving us our REAL options, the alternatives, goes against the rules. They CAN'T take chances. With the HMO's today, they are not allowed much leeway in treating us without opening themselves up to lawsuits and perhaps endangering their first priority, the money that supports their family.
It's not all doom and gloom though...
Learn to use the docs and the system to your advantage. Many of them have good information and WILL help if you have to go off the map, like we do.
Become responsible for your own health and use the doctor like you would a mechanic. Consult with them and get ideas, but get as much information as you can from as many sources as you can and come up with a plan for yourself. Use the doctor to get prescriptions.
yup, the pharmas care WAAAAY less about us. It's fine with them if a few of us die from cardiac events as long as Vioxx, etc. gets to hit the market and make them billions. This is capitalism.

well thanks for the imput peeps at least i know im not alone in this thought , i think its just the o2 thing that really kicked me off i mean could get oxycotin easier than o2 out them and them things are harsh , the doc gave me a script for 60 percs with 4 refills and thats after i flat out tod him they do not work at all they make it worse he just said keep trying them they will help so i have afull bottle thats been sitting on my desk for 6 weeks , i broke my back 3 years ago so at some point when my back acts up and the cycle ends {if it ends} they will be there.
jcmquix hang in there bro im with ya on the floor every night hell every time i fall asleep i will be up within an hour in hell the relpax wont last it worked for me about 10 times then i got rebounds like crazy from it my advice it only use it when the beast is at its worst dont waste them cause once they stop working its pointless to take them at least thats what i learned.
i did hbwr seeds last night i was still woken up but they never passed a k5 and ice killed it pretty fast , still 3 times ruins any good needed sleep man i so need relief and soon im outs time and money at this point im starting to get prettyy scared of where this is going to take me ive gone from well off to straight to the bottom ive damn near sold everything i cant to keep afloat tomarrow my beautyfull 77 ford f350 monster truck will be sold just to pay the bills and that hurts alot my bike is already gone and the puter will soon be on the block.
