Last week i did the alternative med talked about at clusterbusters. That night i got hit hard but then the next couple days were light. The first few days after the treatment were much better than the last few days. I havent had any triptans in 7 days, no verapimil. I do take propranolol for hyperthyroidism, going to switch to verapimil asap. Any advice for my treatment tonite? If i get hit like i did last week, should i avoid trex at all costs? Even the O2 didnt help me last week, trex is my last resort. Thanks and wish me ruck. BMonee

well, all went well the nite of. No CH during the whole "trip", not even on the downside. However, unlike last time, i got several bad ones between 4am and 10am the next morning. I hope this can break my cycle. Does more frequent use have better effect? if i did it every 3 days or something, or if i used a lot of shrooms in 1 dose, would that have better effect? Thanks, and pray to god i remain alive through this cycle. PF wishes to all BMonee

| Not at all unusual. on Jun 26th, 2005, 6:55pm, BMoneeTheMoneeMan wrote:I hope this can break my cycle. Does more frequent use have better effect? if i did it every 3 days or something, |
| I hope so too. More frequent use will probably not give you better results. You really won't know how well it's working for 5 days or so. You could have some attacks for the first three days and then the 4th and 5th days could show great improvement as it has for many. If you dose every 3 days, you could be making things last much longer than need be. You could be only two days away (4th and 5th)from breaking the cycle and never know it. If things continue to increase rather than decrease on 4/5....then begin thinking about another dose. on Jun 26th, 2005, 6:55pm, BMoneeTheMoneeMan wrote:or if i used a lot of shrooms in 1 dose, would that have better effect? |
| Probably not. May even make things worse before making things better. Sometimes, the bigger the dose, the bigger the downside attacks for a couple days. Most people need no more than a barely noticeable hallucinogenic effect. A few people end up needing a larger dose but rarely what would be considered a recreational dose. good luck Bobw
