a treatment I've tried for the past 3 years

This may sound strange, but during my last bought with clusters (mid-2002), I decided to try an alternative approach, as NOTHING has ever cessated or helped me with my clusters (I've tried everything, believe me).
I went to a friend who is a chiropractor, and we had long discussion about referred pain and nerve bundles. Anyway, since he began manipulting my neck and upper back, I've not had a recurrence. When I get a "burn," his treatment has stopped it every time so far. I'm not saying this will ever prevent another cluster, but I honestly believe in it so far.

I am glad it has worked for you. But the rest of us (or at least 99% of us), that have tried that treatment have had no success with it. I only hope that is what works for you, and not that the beast has decided to wait before hitting you gain.

I've tried ergots, narcotics, sumatriptan, o2 therapy, water, lithium, sansert, magnesium, over the counter stuff, etc...
I even had a mercury filling (upper right jaw) replaced as a last ditch effort.
