UPDATE Dr. Sewell is getting near the completion and submission of the initial paper, so if you've been planning on getting him your records for inclusion, please do so soon. You may want to write Andrew and let him know its still on the way and see if he has a deadline. Thanks very much to everyone that has already done so. Please continue to complete our surveys if you haven't yet done them all. The information collected has already been very helpful and will continue to be used in several ways to help find better treatments and help explain what cluster headaches really are, to the medical community. If you have already used the psilocybin/lsd treatment: http://www.erowid.org/plants/mushrooms/survey/mushrooms_survey_headaches .shtml http://www.clusterbusters.com/phpsurveyor/index.php?sid=4 The following survey asks a few additional questions and also contains a specific consent question that must be completed to allow additional information gathering between yourself and Dr. Sewell, if you choose to do so. http://www.clusterbusters.com/phpsurveyor/index.php?sid=7 The following survey is for all cluster sufferers, whether or not you've tried the treatment: Quality of Life, part 1 http://www.clusterbusters.com/phpsurveyor/index.php?sid=5 Quality of Life part 2 http://www.clusterbusters.com/phpsurveyor/index.php?sid=6 Our case number list is up to 183. We've come quite a way. If you aren't sure about your case number, or if you have one, let me know. Rick Doblin of MAPS has mentioned that he expects an article to appear in Psychology Today that will be mentioning the Cluster headache study. So, keep your eyes open. Dr. Sewell recently gave a talk at MIT, on cluster headaches, their various treatments, the case histories he is gathering, and the proposed research into LSD and psilocybin. We've also been making some changes and additions to the website over the last month or so, so when you've got nothing to do, feel free to check it out, including the FAQ page. http://www.clusterbusters.com/ In addition, we have added something for people that make a donation to the research fund. (model not included ) http://www.clusterbusters.com/necklace.htm For those of you that have already made donations (or will in the future) to MAPS directly, thank you and please send me an email letting me know you're mailing address (even if I have it already, so I can start a separate file) so I can get them out to you. Thanks everyone, very much BobW (Sorry for the double post DJ but I did just make one new thread )

Just in time for Father's Day.... We are pleased to present a special signed, numbered limited edition of prints of Dean Chamberlain's light painting portrait of Albert Hofmann. This portrait was made in 1997 at Albert's home in Switzerland and is signed by Albert and Dean. This edition of prints was created to help fund MAPS-sponsored LSD and psilocybin research (http://www.maps.org/research/cluster/psilo-lsd/) as well as to commemorate Albert's 100th birthday next year. 50% of the profits from the sale of these prints will go towards this research, with a minimum of $25,000. There are only 50 of these are beautiful archival pigment prints. The image is 11"x14" and is printed on fine-art matte paper. The price of the prints starts at $1500 and will increase as the edition sells out. Prints # 1-10 are $1500 (SOLD OUT) Prints #11-20 are $2000 Prints #21-30 are $2500 Prints #31-40 are $3000 Prints #41-50 are $3500 Recently Albert's signature on a single sheet of blotter acid art sold at auction for $3000. Dean Chamberlain developed his light painting technique, which involves working with his camera and subject in completely dark spaces, in 1977. These images are created entirely in the camera, with no computer manipulation. Using extremely long exposures in sessions that often extend to four or five hours, he moves through the composition space with a flashlight and colored gels, illuminating each individual element, not so much photographing a moment but painting with light through time and space. Dean considers this portrait of Albert to be one of his best photographs. To see more of Dean's work, visit www.deanchamberlain.com

Anyone that spends $3500 on a PRINT of a painting is on drugs

Jonny, I would guess that you spend more than $3,500 per year on meds and O2, and lets just qualify this a bit, You are on drugs, big time lithium and verapamil, strickly a personal choice here, but I would rather be pain free and drug free and giving my money that I might have spent on CH drugs to a cause that just might result in not possibly a cure for generations to come but also may result in some ease in the suffering of those currently living with this hellish condition. Just my thoughts, not meant to annoy. Marsha ps. come on, really wouldn't you rather have one of those prints and donating to the cause, rather than having those freaking CH's? Be real as Dr. Phil says Marsha
