I know of a couple of us, myself included, that have used Keppra.

My experience was via IV and did break the current h/a.  I have not taken Keppra long term.

Keppra can cause nightmares but I don't recall any other issues with it.

How long have you been taking it?  How is it working for you?

Wishin' you many pf days and nights,
Renee

I was on keppra, as a prevent, for at least a year and I believe that initailly it helped...but then it just didn't anymore.....and when my doc cranked up the dose last August for one last try, it was a bad depressive mental scene.

I tapered off of it sept 2004...that was kind of scary too....very strange neuro withdrawl symptoms for me. (I believe I posted about that here.)

it is an anti convulsant so you really need to watch what other meds you take with it, even over the counter stuff And while on it, I found this to be the most frustrating thing.

If you want more info, let me know and I can go back in my journals and look up specifics of when I first took it..if that would be helpful.

be well ,
