Acupuncture will help??

I have been talking to some non-doctor health and wellness people and they say that acupuncture is a good way to fight CH and Migraines. Of course my western doc has not mentioned it, but does anyone know if this can help? I have a client that is a Wellness Center and have access to acupuncturists. I am not a fan of taking pills and shots, but I do it anyway cause of this monster. I would more appreciate taking a natural, or non-invasive treatment. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks and PF wishes BMonee

Think of how stupid the average person is, and then realize half the population is stupider than that.

IMHO, will acupuncture help with clusters? Absolutely, positively NOT. NO way. Never. Ever. Please scroll down and read the string titled ‘Chinese Medicine’. But, that’s just my opinion.

This is a topic that gets highly emotional responses, so hang on...it can get crazy. I have had accupuncture for CH and it didn't help at all. I did find it very helpful for other issues, both CH associated and other health issues. The CH associated ones were tension and muscle pain. There is not, as yet, a "cure" for CH. There are treatments and everyone responds differently to each of them. People have found relief with traditional meds and "alternative" treatments. Look around the boards and gather info. Talk to your dr about them and begin the process of finding what works for you. Good luck and pain free wishes to you, nani

| The challenge would finding a 'non-doctor health and wellness' person who has ever heard of CH. If I were to come across one that said 'yes... such & such would help CH', the 'this person is fulla shit' bell would go off in my head, as they likely never heard of CH before I mentioned it in the previous sentence.

I totally believe that accupuncture helps many people with many different ailments. It never helped my clusters, however .... Kris
