For those who don't know me, I'm Rex, 39, and chronic for the past three years. Getting hit 3-4 times per night with CH ranging from 7-9 on the kip scale. So, with the help of Pink Floyd (Bob), I decided to try the shroom treatment. I detoxed from all the meds I was on for 3 weeks, only relying on 02 for pain. I did a first dose on the 16th of December with moderate results but I wasn't entirely satisfied. I've waited a week since my last dose and the HA were coming back. So, on Christmas eve, I dosed again. I miscalculated the amount that I was supposed to take and did a lot more than I thought.... but I realized quickly that I over did it. Within 10 minutes after eating them (26.9 gr) I felt strong waves going through my body. I started to see sun like patterns on the plain walls and my body fell heavier by the minute. So I went downstairs to tell my wife that I was gonna trip really hard... she made me lay on the couch and she turned on all the cool light we have and cued Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here on the CD player, and man!!!!..... I achieved a level 5,without a doubt!!! I can't even describe the place I went to... my wife said I was laying there crying and laughing at the same time in a complete state of bliss... The only description I can give it, and it may sound cheesy, and I'm not what you would call a "religious person" but I think I saw God!!!... not as a person, but as a mixture of patterns, colors and sounds... I also remember a lot of Aztec and Mayan art (big sculpted wheels) floating above me and an old toothless woman dancing around and chanting... really really weird!!!! But there was nothing bad at all about the trip. I've never felt so good in my entire life nor have I seen anything so beautiful even if undescribable. I couldn't even tell what emotion was associated with crying. But to me it was pure joy and satisfaction. I didn't think I was gonna come back because I felt so detached from everything else. If you had asked me my name or address, I don't think I would have known at the time.... Since then, I've been shadowing daily, but it never turned into a full HA... and YES!!!! I've been getting full nights of sleep for the first time in ages!!!! You have no idea (or maybe you do) what it's like!!! IMPORTANT NOTE: I do not recommend to anyone to take such a large dose unless you've done it in the past. I can see how some people could get really freaked out by the heavy hallucinations. Please consult clusterbusters or someone experienced first. I mean it!! I hope this will help anyone who's curious about trying out mushrooms. Rex

| Nani, you crack me up, literally! Rex, I AM very happy you're having PF time and restful nights since the shrooms. My next cycle is expected in June, and I'll be going on the shrooms in the hopes of by-passing it. Langa

Skinny as a bone would be me. I'm currently learning all I can about alternative therapy. For safety's sake, are you a member of clusterbusters? If not, you probably should be. All the info you need is there. PM me if you would like to know more. The dose you took is SO BIG!!!! Kris

| I'm sure that was the wet weight. (26.9 gms) That would be close to the equivalent of 3 gms dried. Glad to hear you are getting some PF time Rex!!!!!!

Thank you everybody for all your wishes... Yes, they were 1/2 dried and stored in honey... I highly recommend the honey method... it helps with the bad taste, but fasten your seatbelts.... So, the first night after the trip I had heavy shadows and then they went away. Today has been the best so far. My head feels like it did years ago.... NORMAL!!! NO PAIN!!! NO SHADOWS!!! NO FREAKIN BEAST!!!! I truly hope this stays the way it is, but if not, I will trip again. I am so thankful for the few PF days I've had so far... Honestly, everyone should try the mushroom treatment. After trying all the fucked up meds, I am so happy to be pill free and pain free for the first time in years.... Kris, I'm signed up with clusterbusters... Bob has been in touch with me for advice. And yesterday, Dr. Sewell called me about being part of their studies.... I will keep you guys updated!!! PF VIBES TO ALL!!!! May the fungi be with you!!!!

Hiya Rex, Isn't it GREAT to feel absolutely no pressure, shadows, etc! It truly is like the days prior to ch, at least for me, best I can remember. At any time during your dose do you remember feeling a release of the pressure? I felt it actually occur. Congrats on a med free life, renee
