melatonin brand recommendation

I am going to try melatonin.  There seems to be a wide spread range of prices at one of the sources I checked out.  In addition, I read in an article ...
"If one brand of commercial melatonin does not work another should be tried because the true amount of melatonin in various over-the-counter brands varies widely."

Can anyone recommend a brand?

"Nature's Bounty" is the only one I've used.

I'm not sure about brands making a difference but some people use "regular" and time released.

Hope it helps ya catch some ZZZZZ's

When you are out of cycle, what amount do you take?
I'm out of cycle now, but thought I felt better when I took melatonin (except for a rash/itch)----I have wondered if I could take it regularly or save it for the CH only.    Sophie

I've been taking 9 mg of the melatonin 45min before bed for the last 4 nights and no luck...not even the promised highly detailed erotic dreams I had hoped for Wink
Still getting 4-5 attacks a night between 11PM and 4:30 and now waking up with a woping hangover.  Should I assume it isn't for me?  keep trying? adjust the dose?

All I can say is I love my Apria O2 delivery man.  I've sworn off the trex and am surviving on the big green bottles of beast be-gone.

try using some time-release meltoin, see if that helps.  mix it with the regular, take about 3mg of normal melatonin and about 8mg of time release.
