i went to see a head pain doc and finally got a prescription for 02. I called a med supply place only to find out that in NYS, CH is considered a secondary illness and that 02 is given only to heart and lung primary illnesses. Anyone have any advice or experience??? DESPERATE!!!!!!!!!!

Go to your local welding shop, and lease some bottles. Be sure and get a regulator an a good 6 ft. hose. An 8 foot hose may be even better if you move around alot. Take the hose to your local hardware store, and get adaptors for your mask. I use a thumb actuated gizmo made for blowing air. Do not take the tank to the hardware store, just the hose. They need to match the fittings. Tell the welding shop you use propane to cut steel with. Tell the hardware (autoparts) store you want to hook the devices together. There is no need to tell them why. Welding oxygen is the same gass as medical oxygen. Its a whole lot less expensive too.

that's hardcore...but worth a try if all else fails. I do live in NYC where i don't even know about local garages much less some of the equipment you mentioned. But whatever, pain is pain and don't think I am not willing to. Thank you for the tip
