i want to share this story w/everyone. for 10 years straight i never gave up on praying, but nothing ever happened. then sept. of 2001 while having a series of attacks at work mt HR manager dropped into health svse. to inquire about me. (she freaked). she said i knew you had this problem but now that i've seen what you go thru, i want u to know that the word headache is very misleading. then she asked me for permission to pray over me. i told her yes. she put her hand on my shoulder and prayed out loud for 5 mins. (i found myself praying w/her). 2 weeks later my headaches dissappeared, were gone for three years. ANY TWO OF U AGREE ON ANYTHING AND ASK IN HIS NAME, IT SHALL BE DONE. now that their back thinking of going to her again and having another prayer session.

Better still...YOU pray (even with someone else). It wasn't her, but God's strength within yourself that likely worked. Just my I'm glad it worked for you. I'm glad when anything works for anybody.

Or even better still add this to the prayer session; Predisone taper and verapamil with 02 or imitrex to abort.

No doubt about it - I believe prayer works for healing; and I also know that it works for the sanity when healing tarries in its coming...

I've got to go with Don on this one. I don't even consider praying until I'm out of Imitrex & O2. At that point I have little else. Better than throwing in the towel.

I'm with you, Survivor, on prayer.....I know HE is close to those who are broken....and when we are in the throws of the CH, we are broken.....I cry out to HIM.....and I know HE hears my cry.....Even in the pain....HE is there to comfort......wild isn't it? Blessings.....big time....and pain free days and nights....and most of all HIS comfort either way... Karen
