Hi There - Im new to my cluster diagnosis, but do not feel my neuro is responsive enough in treating this. He put me on verapamill (sp?) at 120 mg/day. So far, this has not done anything. Im looking for a recommendation from a CH sufferer for a good neuro. I dont care if I have to travel out of state to see him/her. Any suggestions? Many thanks! Chalise

Go to the OUCH web site and look up one of the Docs in there. That is how I found my neuro and he rocks! T

Hi, 120 mg verapamil is a very low dose but dont increase the dose without doc's advise. It takes about 1 to 2 weeks before it works. It should be taken during the entire cycle up until a few weeks after the last attack. Ronny.

I've got a good one here in Phoenix... It's only about 5 hrs. Let me know if you want to make the drive.

Chalz I know a good one in Medford Or. The neuro list here had a couple in the bay area. Havn't been to them though. BB Larry J Maukonen 541-779-4991 300.-- an hour needs referral but he cares and listens.
