Helo everyone, I haven't been posting in a while. My ch's are back and they are angry!! Quick question, has anyone ever felt tingling in their hands and legs while having a severe attack?(kip 8 or higher) I had this over the weekend and to be honest it scared the hell out of me. The Imitrex got rid of the ha and everything was ok after that. Just hoping for a little input Thanks Steve

If the tingling in your hands comes on after you take Imitrex ... it could be considered a "Cardiac event". (Your heart is getting squeezed) You should report this to your neuro at once. If the tingling gets severe or does not stop in a timely manner ... consult a doctor. If I take a FULL shot of Imitrex ... I get a sunburnt feeling on the back of my neck and on the palms of my hand (which also feels tingly). Doc's said "Cardiac event" and that the day was coming when I would no longer be able to use Trex. As long as I don't take too much Trex, I don't have these side effects. I usually take a 4 mg shot. I get tingling when I have a bad attack, I believe it is similar to a panic attack. I basicaly get all worked up and anxious, hyperventalate etc. I've had the same type of panic attack once or twice in high stress situations un related to HAs as well.

Like Redrum's posting, I've gotten tingling after very intense bouts - 10s on the kip scale. I'm 4 weeks into it this time after 1 year in remis- I've forgotten what a good night sleep feels like.

I get tingling in the feet during July and August, when I am in cycle. Along with twitching eyes, disturbed sleep. Happens even in years when I am headache free.
