Not sure that this article contains any new information (no frickin abstract), but it is important for another reason - the more publications that deal with this topic, the easier it will be to get an Oxygen prescription and have the insurance companies pay for it. There are 101 articles on PubMed that contain both "cluster headache" and "Oxygen," but most of them do not deal with high flow rate oxygen as a medicine. A handful of articles mention Oxygen as a therapy, but insurance companies are still arguing that there are no rigorous scientific studies. The more that is written about Oxygen, the sooner it becomes a widely accepted treatment. Quote: Neurology. 2004 Aug 10;63(3):593. High oxygen flow rates for cluster headache. Rozen TD. MHNI, 3120 Ann Arbor, MI 48104. trozen@mhni.com PMID: 15304611 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher] |
