Bethamethasone vs. Prednisone - Any Experience?

Need your experience - Background Into my 3rd month which has slowly but inexorably risen to 6 to 8 attacks thru the day and night. It's been several years since my last major episode so I'm working with the doctor to come up with a prophylactic regimen to add to the abortive regimen which is primarily Oxygen and occasional Immigram or Relpax. The attacks, left unchecked rise to a KIP7 or more, and shawdowing in between is almost constant now. Sleep had been totally disrupted, however last night 20MG of Relpax seemed to reduce the number and intensity of the nighttime attacks I had been having. I will use a cocktail that had been succesful in reducing the intensity and frequency of the attacks before. This is nothing new (at least to most of the folks on this board). I will use Verapamil at 340mg - 2X per day, Lithium, at 300MG per day, and Prednisone taper. However, the Physician is suggesting we use Betamethasone taper instead of Prednisone which he suggested had a better anti-inflammatory result. Any experience with Betamethasone? Thanks for any assistance
