The INDOMETHACIN is working..

I am happy to report that as of this minute I have only had 2 episodes today after starting the INDO... I took my first pill with lunch around 12:30 this afternoon. I had several clusters this am and was so glad when I called the Pharmacy and they said the pills were in.. They were out of them yesterday. So I took one at lunch and one at dinner and so far I only had 2 episodes and they were nothing.. So I think my Neuro hit it this time and like some of you had said with the amount of HAs and duration it was more like CPH. Thank you everyone whom offered their advice. Hopefully we can stay painfree.. One quick question, how long before I start coming off of the stuff? I know I have not been on it long yet, btu I want to just be prepared for when the time comes.. Thanks and painfree days to all..

Anybody who thinks they have clusters, especially the females, are nuts not to give the indo a try.

| Bob, why don't you explain to all of the females out there, exactly what is in our chemical make-up compared to males that gives a reason of WHY we are nuts not to give indo. a try? Thanks! mel

I'm thinking Bob's comment was more based on statistics. You have a good point though Mel... CHris

| Well, not sure about the chemistry, but Prense is right - there are gender differences as far as the statistics and probabilities go ... most cases of paroxysmal hemicrania are female. I would think that most people who are in the process of being diagnosed for CH should get indomethacin to rule out PH - there are bound to be some manly men who are in touch with their hemacraniac side Less than an hour to infuriate people before the weekend starts!!
