My Neuro is ill & out of Meds

I'm having that feeling of anxiety!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry to whine. Certainly don't want to be that "newbie"
(Some of you will know what/who I mean)
I asked yesterday about meds running out and scripts etc.... Having shadows all day and not too bad on the attacks probobly between 5 & 7's but ...
I figured lucky me atleast I can wait til tomorrow wednesday since I had an appt. with my dr. This woman was a godsend... the only one out there who saw me in a split second when I was so desperate.
Just got a call from her office that they need to cancel because god forbid SHE is SICK and doesn't know how long will be.. How ironic.
I feel bad for her (she happens to have some health problems) but I feel bad for me too. Am I a bastard for that.
the office atleast called me back and verified my script to see if they can get approval from her to give me samples. I guess that's good if that can happen.
Should I suck down some hot pepper 
What to do?????
Enough of bitching!!! sorry and think i'll pop a xanax!

I suggest calling your primary care doc and expalining the situation. Maybe s/he can give you enough meds or (even better some samples) to get you thru to your next appt.

Typically your neuro's office can call in a script refill for you under such conditions. Call back... see if they are up for that.

Ok, here's the deal, you need to develop a good relationship with your neuro's nurse, kiss her/his ass. Let them know what is up and they will get another doc to write a script for you. I never talk to my neuro anymore, except for my once a year required visit, I just call his nurse, I am on a first name basis with her, she is wonderful, I have her direct line. She is truly an angel. I recommend you estabish the same kind of relationship with your nurse.

Your neuro will have someone covering for her. Go to him/her and explasin your situation and have them look at your medical records. Prescribing should not be a problem.

Haven't tried the O2: I know I'm gonna get bashed for that one!! but true treatment for these things have only just begun 1 week ago! (& I don't know why she didn't perscribe that 1st like you all say they should)
I was just greatful to get to see someone who seemed to have a clue based on what you all said!
If I bug out tonight, I will get my ass to the local F.D. and see if they can give me a blast!
As far as the nurse goes they seem great but like I said this is new to me so We'll see tomorrow.
One good thing after hanging in there today and managing to work a bit. Was able to teach a bit, supervise my clients and I had to run a meeting. A bitch to do when your eye is gonna explode...
I swore the intensity alone aborted my pain.
I felt great for the first time in a month  and then......
I get home and back to the shadows and here comes a fucking pacer!!
Thanks again!! You guys rule!!!!!!

i think up here they call it FLIRTING tho! hee hee hee
SOme wise woman here told me once - to call the neuro's office and tell them you are on the verge of LOSING it - even say you're suicidal if you have to - they'll figure out a way to get your meds for you - even tho she's sick.
It worked... and super MAD fast too. Felt kinda shitty about throwing the "suicide" word in there.. but damn = that worked - and sometimes ya gotta do whatcha gotta do to get some relief.
NO - you're not an ass holio for feeling for feeling bad for yourself.... you're in pain.
hope you get whatcha need.......quickly.

Are you saying he should get samples of sperm to shoot in his eye? I would think if you were getting samples of that, then it could just be dropped into your eye... right?
