looks like i will be returning to work next week . the new meds verapamil and midrin should have kicked in by then at full streangth --- I hope . Now think like a truck driver ---- I got the meds that i can use at night which is great because they put me to sleep. I have 2 "E" tanks on the way plus the one i got next to me right now. (3 total) the trick is that i bought the tanks ==== from your guys experience traveling how do i get these suckers refilled. Doc and I figured 3 tanks would last about 1 to 1 1/2 weeks if I am careful. but I stay out for about 3 to 4 weeks at time. any suggestions? consider the following --- I can't just drive the truck up the med store to get them filled. Thanks please advise

That's a good question David. You might want to ask Jonny about that as he is one of the resident experts on O2. I know for me, 1 E-tank lasts me between 3 & 4 headaches. I always use 15 lpm (the highest my regulator goes) and if I use it for 10 mins, I get 4 headaches out of it. If I have to go 15 mins, then only 3 headaches. Sorry I can't help you with your question. Good luck. Virginia

yep ...thats about it for me 2. 3-4 HA's. For me, I keep 4 tanks. My insurance pays 100% and I get them from Apria Health care. I haven't tried it, but I'll bet I could go to any of their offices and exchange the tanks. If I didn't have insurance, I would be talking to a welding supply place to get my O2.

David A-- Truck driver (Class B CDL ) to truck driver and clusterhead to clusterhead.....could you call some place like Apria and tell them to deliver a tank of O2 to one of your scheduled stops along the way? For example if you know you're gonna run out of O2 in about 10 days could you approximate where you're gonna be about that time and have the O2 deliver to that stop? I feel for you. My heart goes out to you. If you're desperate and need welding O2 what about contacting someplace like Thermo King when you're on the road (FYI they service reefer units). I bet they would have welding O2 and they'd be more apt to help a trucker. Just trying to brainstorm ideas..... Sam
