Docter mentioned to me about only takinf verapimil only during my cycles. Has anyone tried this does it work vs taking it all the time, Interested in finding out?

Most people who are episodic take verapamil only when in cycle. When they feel the episode may be ending they will try and lower the dose and finally stop vera- pamil altogether. There is no sense in taking medication for, say, 6 months between episodes. And taking vera all the time will not prevent your next cycle to come along. I don't know if one's body can ghet so used to Verapamil that a new cluster episode will break through and you';d have to take even more Vera. As I say, I don't know but it might be a possibility. I'd say try and wean yourself of Vera, if youfeel your episode is over.
