ANY IDEAS or COMMENTS

HEY ALL

I'm Looking for Ideas or comments on what is happening with my CH cycles.

I was an episodic sufferer for 25 yrs or more, Than pain free for over seven yrs. Two yrs. ago I started cycles again. These cycles are coming and going every two
months, Now the duration is short and HA is Kip6 lasting
20-30 minutes.Three or four times a night. I'll get woken up three, four days in a row,
Than nothing for two, three days. Than hit again this will continue for two or three weeks than gone. I'm flying to and from to work in Africa. always seem to get hit on my return to US. But, not each time.
Some HA last only minutes and I always know they are
coming. Unlike when I was younger.

I take a calcium channel blocker for BP and Melatonin
to keep good sleeping habits.

Anyway I ask the Doctor about this today, He had no
Ideas or comments to offer. Maybe someone here might.

Thanks, PFDAN

Hey Capt.

Not sure what to say here. I'm episodic and my cycles are usually pretty regular within a few weeks anyway. Fall always & Spring sometimes.

During most of my cycles, I get a few days here & there PF. Just enough so the Beast fools me into thinking it's over, then Wham, starts again.

Once in-awhile I will have what seems to be a fluke cycle. Out of the blue, a CH mini cycle lasting a week or so. I get anxiety attacks of course thinking a new cycle just started. Then poof, it's gone. That doesn't happen very often, but it has happened to me a few times. Not sure if that's your condition or not.

Best of luck and pf days to come!!!

Try tinkering with the amount and/or the timing of your melatonin doses. Could be your circadean rhythm is just "wobbling" on the edge of the "in cycle" state and your med routine is keeping it on the cusp. A minor dosage change could be just the thing to knock your rhythm into place and end the cycle. Please see other threads on melatonin. Just a thought.

Is the calcium channel blocker verapamil?

Thanks for your replies guys.
Before the six or seven years pain free, The ch cycle
was always the same.

C.Johnston:
ThAT IS WHAT i'M THINKING. And I ask the doctor the same. He didn't have squat to say.
Does anyone really know anything about this condition?

I read the melatonin and will up the dose today.

Thanks again!
