What happened with the clomid experiment? There was a lot of talk about it, then nothing. Was it a failure?

unsolved was using it. It made him sick. He's been having a bad time lately. I pm'ed him on Friday and still haven't heard from him. I'm getting a little worried.

From what I could tell from following the messages, it worked for a few days then... And yes, UE claimed the clomid made him quite ill.

Took the clomid for 3 days and had to stop as it sent me spiraling straight down. Being chronic and then spiraling is a torture no one should have to endure. It's been about 3 weeks since that happened and my condition has yet to return to the pre-clomid generally miserable level it used to be. FOR CERTAIN clomid affected the pituitary-hypothalamus connection but for me but in a terribly negative way. I do believe that there was a thread or 2 that updated us early guinea pigs. Do a quick search. nots

Took Clomid for 3 weeks. Then I came down with what I thought was the flu. Sicker than a dog ! Ended up going to my doctor. He said that it was the Clomid. "Some people have severe side effects like your experiencing from this drug." He called my neuro at MHNI and they agreed ... stop the Clomid. I dehydrated and was hospitalized. It might have been reducing the number of headaches I was having ... but at a hefty price ! Now on: Verapamil Baclofen Methergine DHE injections (daily) O2 Still not working too good. Just upped the dose of Methergine though (hope it helps) Unsolved
