I've tried Zanaflex at bedtime twice now, because I'm so sleep deprived I'll try anything. Here's how it works for me: 4 hours of real, out-of-it sleep, then wake up with about a kip4, which quickly zooms to a 7 or 8. Get up, take two double excedrin, drink strong coffee and breakfast, usually 4 AM, and get on with it. 4 hours of sleep, anyway.

have you tried melatonin before bedtime?

I tried it years ago, and as I recall, it didn't help. Maybe because I'm a chronic. Does it help you, and if so, what strength?
