My Neuro said that it acted like Verapamil, only it affected the cerebral arteries more, and not the arteries in the rest of the body. At higher doses of Verapamil (600) I am finding relief from the clusters, but I am having really low blood pressure (70/50) and heart palpatations. So we're going to try the Nimotop, with a lowered dose of Verapamil, and see how it works. He has had one guy on it for 10 years. It's very expensive , though, and I'm really damn lucky that my insurance is going to pay for it. Vi
