Cluster Buster VS Sansert

Interesting. This might have been mentioned before, but what the heck. 2 nights ago talking to a pharmacist I asked him about Sansert. I recall a friend of mine taking this for his chronic suffering, with great results. Anyhow the pharmacist said "Do you know whats in that stuff?", I shook my head "It's the closest your going to get to doing legal Acid/LSD in a prescription". Interesting .....after you consider the cluster busters shroom treatment. Oh well, just something that was on my mind to post. Larry

Search on Albert Hoffman.... The two are closely related. Sansert (methysergide) is no longer available in the U.S. but it seems the Canadians can get it.

Don't know why everyone says that. I can go right down to Walgreens and get Sansert now. (They do have to order it and it takes 24 hrs ... but hey...you can still get it)

I asked for it from the Neuro and he said it wasn't available in the U.S. anymore. Sansert is no longer available in the United States, but is still being manufactured in Canada by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals (a subsidiary of Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation). from http://www.norphar.com/Sansert.htm If I'm wrong, I'll pull the post.

If I had to choose between shrooms vs sansert, it's no contest... IMHO the illegal stuff is much safer than sansert. Cruel world. --- Steve

Sansert won't make you hallucinate, will it. I have in the past taken it and never experienced anything like that.

| Some people do hallucinate with sansert. Some with other ergots. Not common but it does happen. I suppose if you took 20mgs of sansert, you'd increase your chances of hallucination. Prescriptions for the ergots are at sub-hallucinogenic doses, just as with most people trying the psilocybin treatment. PF BTW, your pharmacist is correct.

Sansert was one of the only headache meds that ever helped me. I was very bummed when it was discontinued. You can drive to Canada, but I called several U.S. pharmacies and they said "no way". Too many side effects.

It starts working somewhere between 3-5 days then no more c/h. I am only on it for a month this time then doc wants me to taper off. you sould not be on it for long term use so i was told 6 months tops. I get alittle tired on it but most people do on any drug!!

I got no relief from Sansert, nor did it cause side-effects, except for mild leg cramps. Why is it illegal all of a sudden? I was prescribed it in the summer of 2002. There are many ergotamine-based drugs on the market. -HypnoticFreddy
