regarding the hypothalamus...

I've noticed that when I'm going through a cycle that I am constantly hungry and then when I eat just a little bit, I feel full. I keep eating as I know that it is not normal for me to get a full stomach from such a small amount of food. Then after eating a full meal, maybe 2 hours later, I notice that I'm hungry again.

I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing anything similar to this.

I'm beginning to suspect that its a side-effect or another ...err, I don't know if symptom is the correct word but maybe another condition that appears when the hypothalamus is not working properly.

In doing a great deal of research regarding neurological diseases and the like, I've read reports of people who suffer from CH and researchers have compared their brain scans to non-CHers and it has shown the hypothalamus in each group is shaped differently...some have even gone as far as saying that it may be "deformed". I'm starting to wonder if its a birth defect that causes this disorder.

Anyone have any thoughts or insight, I would be happy to hear about them.

Thanks,
hype
