Question for chronics

Yeah, yeah, I know, I haven't posted in awhile. Just lurking and trying to maintain, I guess.
The last few weeks I've had some flu-like symptoms along with my 24/7 shadows. Kind of achey all over, basically just a rotten sick-ish feeling, but it's been too long to be a virus bug, or the usual kind, anyway. Anybody ever had this type of symptom along with shadows? This morning it got worse, and my usual head pressure kicked up a few notches (apologies to Emeril) or maybe it's just a result of whatever the problem is if it isn't related to CH.
I've been chronic for a couple years now and this is the first time I've experienced anything like this.

HI gtar_man,
do you get a pain around your nose too,if so  try getting your sinus's checked out, have been chronic for about 7-8 years, get that feeling a lot, generally feel totally empty, bout 50% of time is due to sinus on top of ch , might not affect you in  same way, but worth checking.  other 50% of time is usually my body saying enough and shutting down (understandable after long bouts of attacks.)

I am chronic (10 years), and I do get very persistent shadows at times.  I have never experienced the additional ailments as you described though.

I would agree, you need to get it checked out. One of the problems with us (esp chronic) clusterheads is that we fail to take serious note of constant headaches in general, writing them off as just the wonder of 24/7 shadows. Many serious illness start with a constant/persistent headache...and move into flu-like symptoms. Like west-nile virus, for example...which can lead to death.

It ain't gonna hurtcha to get it checked on...

Let us know what happens.

Peace and love,
Georgia

PS - As a chronic, my answer is "no".

I often have distinct flu-like feelings an hour or so before having a severe CH.  They do not go on as long as yours, but I do know what you are talking about.  This has happened as long as I have been chronic, about 6 years.  It doesn't happen all the time, but only occasionally.
