FREE Imitrex - YEAH!!!! :)

Hi everybody (I am not new - just forgot my password and changed email servers, so I couldn't retrieve it thus had to reregister.) I am not sure if anyone has posted this yet, but if you go to the Imitrex website they are running a promotion for free Imitrex (9 tabs) and six $10 off coupons. A tip is to state that you have NOT used Imitrex before - that way you get the free sample and the coupons. If you state you have used it before, you will only be sent the coupons for future purchases. I did not notice anywhere that the coupons were for tabs only, so hopefully it will apply to the injections also. By the way, the $10 off applies even if you have insurance, as long as your copayment is at least $10.

I received my coupon for 9 free 50mg or 100mg pills today!  After you submit this to the pharmacy with your perscription, then they will send you the $10 off coupons for your refills.

Glaxo Wellcome Has a patient assistance program. I first became aware of this through my health care provider. My insurance company refused to cover Imitrex injections, and the provider submitted me to the program. I was able to obtain about 10 refills before I ended up being disquallified due to income being too high. (they continuosly monititor your income by having you submit copies of your pay-stubbs, medical bills, pharmacy bills, etc.)
The only information I can provide is the number for the Glaxo Wellcome Patient Assistance Program 800 number from the back of my pharmacy card. 800-722-9294

I've been taking Maxalt for the past 4 months with good results but I'm not getting enough to knock out my twice daily CH's.
By the way, I've read that cycles usually run about 2-3 months. I started my cycle back in May (after 14 yrs CH free!). Does anyone suppose I may be nearing the end of this $&@$*%@ cycle ?!

Woo - frickin' - hoo. This is the response I got...Minnesota doesn't like its headache sufferers, apparently. But, glory, I'll get a guide in the mail. Bleah. What's the status of imitrex in Canada? All the other meds are cheaper there...
