Shrooms help

My name is Daniel and I am 16 years old. I've been getting episode CH since I was 12. I've tried just about every medicine mentioned on this post and most didn't work. Now I have chronic CH and am willing to do anything to get rid of them. I saw on this forum about taking shrooms, and i'm very interested in taking them. The only thing is I have tourettes and I'm not sure if it would be good to take shrooms. Does anyone else have tourettes and CH? My doctor said it is common to have both. Also, would it be ok to take shrooms as well as my other medicines? Someone please respond quickly. Thank you. If anyone wants to talk to me about CH (I really need to talk to someone one on one) please instant message me using aim at dan182skater or email me at dan182skater@aol.com.

Daniel,

I was 16 when I first started having cluster headaches, so I know a bit how you feel.  Twelve years old is very young to have to deal with pain like that.  Your experience with tourettes is something I haven't heard of yet as it relates to clusters.

Considering your age, you are going to have to keep your parents involved in any decisions regarding treatments for either condition.  If you are considering alternative treatments for CH, take your parents all the information you can find on the subject including what you can find here on this site.  Believe me, when I was your age, my mother would have done ANYTHING to keep me from pain like this.  Parents feel as helpless as you do.  Please work it out with your parents and your doctor before you try a treatment you might regret later.

We all understand your pain and your desperation to find a solution for it.  I wish you luck in finding what works for you.

Dan, never heard of Tourettes being linked to clusterheadaches. What is that doctor thinking off?

He probably thinks women don't get it either? I get clusters. I don't have Tourette.
