Axert is a cluster med listed on the OUCH website (button on the left). I've never used it so can't say good or bad. Welcome to the board. I don't dare ask where the name Dogcheese came from.
I don't dare ask where the name Dogcheese came from.
Bad party name that went terribly wrong (ie it stuck) I kind of adopted it after that, besides its better than "chief drunk off his ass" And thanks for the Welcome! I just wish i had found it PRIOR to this cycle ...

Hey, Dog, welcome. I refuse to take any triptans (short of a KIP8 or above) since I can't see how having a heart attack is gonna help the situation . But I know what you mean - CH can take all the starch outta yer collar. I used to be a pro guitar player but only play occaisionally now. Most of the time my axes sit in their stands staring in silent recrimination at me. Things have been better since I started shroom therapy but I may never be the carefree lad of old. I work, mow the lawn and do what has to be done but "the thrill is gone" for me (and BB). I haven't posted in awhile but guess I need to more often - it helps to talk to others who have to put up with this horseshit too...nobody else can possibly understand... Mike

Dog--I'm a rider too, and I hate not being able to ride during cycle. I wear glasses, and the frame w/ helmet up against the temple makes it a major contributor, if not outright trigger, for an attack. Not crazy enough to ride w/o helmet having a wife and kids. Contacts don't work for me because my eyes are too dry sitting still--never mind the constant air stream while riding. Ironically, I live in the Midwest where only 6 months is riding weather; 2 of those are gone since I get CH now around spring/summer... Mike--I guess the only way a heart attack might help is if it kills us, but then again, it's impossible to know if CH really ends with death! Better to take chances staying alive, for sure! Wouldn't it be scary if we can experience CH pain during a coma? No way to take meds or ask for help... true hell on earth. Makes me want to fill out a living will/DNR right away. I digress... I haven't posted often either esp. when I'm off-cycle, but it helps me too knowing I am among fellow sufferers. The MF beast is too cruel to face alone.

You know my Volusia is sitting under a tarp ... i can see the outline of the headlight staring at me acusingly, she doesn't realized that if I rode her anywhere, I might just as well drop her on her side now and drag it behind my truck. But i hope she will understand .... ahhh well Soon we will be crusing down the road pain free

I have found axert to be as effective as imitrix. I liked it and it was slightly cheaper.
