Migraines and O2????????

Does anyone here know if 02 works on migraines and other types of headaches or only on ch? I get ch once in awhile, but I have migraines 4 or 5 times a week. I try not to take anything for them unless they are really bad because I don't want the rebound headaches. Does o2 cause a rebound headache? Any info would be great I am very new to all of this. Thanks, April

Tell you what April, interestingly, a lot of our supporters get migraines...maybe we sufferers cause them LOL! Maybe you should post this question on the support board and see if any of them have tried it and if it works. Migraine-wise, all I get is auras (thank goodness!) Also, you might type migraine oxygen in google and see what comes up. Sherry

Why wouldnt you try the oxygen and the mushrooms - I have a friend - migrain - who gets relief from both.

I have heard it said O2 is a great relief for hangover headaches. Never tried it as such. I HAVE used O2 at times when I wasn't sure - you have to be fast when pain breaks to catch it on time and I have sometimes thought, afterwards, that it might not have been a cluster but another type of pain. But when it is gone one does not know...

And no, I never had O2 cause me a rebound cluster headache. The next one would start regardless of medication or O2 at their set time. Only with O2 I could abort them.

O2 doesn't work for my migraines, but I have also had limited success with it for my clusters. If I don't catch the cluster right at the beginning it doesn't do anything. Even when it helps... it seems to just slow the cluster down. I say give it a try... It won't hurt. Mark
