Hi Tracey. I get occasional migraines, not very many. There are some people here who get both. Probably, when Monday rolls around you may get more responses. --- Steve, one of many...

Yes, I get both. I started with migraine at 3 and then the clusters started in my early twenties. I now have chronic cluster with migraine thrown in just for fun. I tend to get my migraine as a rebound from the imitrex injections. Another injection or a nasal spray will get rid of the migraine. Before I understood what was happening I though I had really bad migraines and not so bad migraines - turned out the really bad ones were the clusters. Mark

Hi! Sad to say that Yes, I too get both Cluster HA and Migraine. I started with the Migraine when I was in my early teens. Although, I recall having headaches as young as 9 or 10. They said it was because my pony tail was too tight. (go figure) I now have the clusters which started in December. The migraines apparently are causing me to have seizures ( this lovely experience started in February) I hope that they can get me sorted out soon. I can't take the Imetrex because of stroke risk. SO, They put me on Indocin 50mg 3x a day which actually made me PF for three days but has come back with a vengance. Now I am waiting to go back to the HA center in june. They are ramping my Topomax to 200mg. Currently at 100mg. Hoping to stop the seizures. Well I guess I just wanted you to know You're not the only one!!! I am glad to know that I'm NOT THE ONLY ONE EITHER!!! Thanks for giving me hope too!!!!

Dave actually had a Migraine yesterday... Imagine that... He has never had one in his life... other than Clusters and Shadows, he usually doesnt have any headaches when not in cycle... Yesterday he said he had a headache in his eye and in his teeth and all on the side of his usual CH... started getting worse...soooooo I killed it with zomig, a half an hour later... gone! What pissed me off was he said "I could have handled that headache..." so I guess you guys are right... CH is worse than Migraine... Next time Ill let him go 9 or 10 hours before I give him the zomig and see how he feels then... just me bein a bee hive ...........love ya Ree twice in the medical forum in two days an all time record for me............

As Den said, I get migraines, clusters, and a lovely hybrid headache of both. My neuro calls me a "blessed freak." Nice, huh? I emailed you last night all about it. Let me know if you get it. Peace and love, Georgia
