Topamax Update

I started taking Topamax April 12th. My Nuero started me with 25mg per day wand I increased by 25mg every week until I hit 100mg.
By the time I started taking the Topamax, I was already on Verap, and had gone through two cycles of Pred both did nothing. I was having 5-6 HA a day ranging from Kip 6-10.
I was also taking Imitrex Nasal as an abortive.
Once I hit 50mg of the Topamax, I have not had a HA. It has been over three weeks since I have had to use Imitrex! I still get the occasional shadow, but no HA's.
I have gotten every possible side effect of the Topamax though. My limbs and face are constantly going numb and tingly, I'm very scatterd brained, very short of breath and I have lost 20 pounds, but in my opinion it much better then the HA's.
I was already two months into my cycle when I started the Topamax. Sice my last cycle was over one year, my Nuero wants to keep me on for another two months before he begins to take me off it.
I know some people have had horrible problem with Topamax, I just wanted to give my perspective since I was very worried to start taking it once I read the board on here.
