i have had clusters for 18 years now and the only thing that ever worked for me was 2 mg to 8 mg of sansert with 240mg to 480 mg verapamil every day. i have gone 6 months without headaches then getting them again durning my 30 day sansert clean out that happens every 6 months. for the past 13 years, since i started with sansert  i could drink beer or booze and party without fear of having to end my day or night short with hours of percing pain, and now with no warning from my doctor or pharmacy they just stopped making my wonder drug, sansert. my doctor told me they stopped making it because they couldn't make any money off of it. is that insane. i now have to live the rest of my life in fear of the pain.
has anyone else been using sansert succesfully, and does anyone no how i can get that drug company, novartis, to start making it again. if i would of had a notice even i could have stocked up and used it as a cruch while i searched other combinations of meds.
  can anyone help?

They still make it in Canada and Great Britain. Search for the other threads on this subject. There's some good information on how to get it mail order from Canada.

The other route is a drug that is chemically similar called Methergine. It is normally prescribed to post-partum women for uterine bleeding. I was on it for a month, but it didn't seem to tip the scales one way or the other. Others here have had success with it.
