Blood donating and CH relief?

Following on from another recent post about a nose bleed possibly aborting a CH, I want to find out if anyone has tried donating blood during a CH cycle to see if it brought any relief or broke the cycle. The theory is that it might relieve the pressure on the arteries with less volume of blood. Maybe some hope in the ancient medicinal prctise of blood letting? John

Hi John, I have been donating blood for a couple of years now, but so far it hasn't helped at all. I've given blood in cycle and out of cycle and both had no influence. This does help for some migrainers, but also not for all. Apparently this is another difference between us (migrainers an CHeads). Rik
