Imitrex question-Is this normal?

Does anyone else breakout in a rash after using the Imitrex Inj? I started using the shots in July for migraines, yes I have migraines on the right side of my head and CH on the left. It seems I have migraines while not in cycle. I know the difference between the two. Please don't take up the migraine issue. Anyway, after the first couple of shots my leg, the one I inject in, broke out in a rash. The rash is not at the injection site, it is on the back of my leg and is about 6 inches long and 2 inches wide. Never gets bigger. Looks like I have the mange. Now when I inject the dried up rash gets new blisters. Wierd. Depending on how long I go between injections, the rash will all but dry up. Could I be allergic? I used the shot today for the first time in over a month. I have some new blisters already.

That's got to be a Doc. ? I have never had a rash or any other reaction other than a little pain on the scalp with a hot shower after an injection. Might feel like hammered shit the next day but not all that often. 1 of 5 or so. Call your Dr. ASAP you may not like what he has to say about it though as there is no real replacement for this at this time other than some surgical implant devices yet to be proven. Lee

I use the injections, and was using them at least once a day every day, sometimes twice .... then my doc wanted me to try O2 rather than doing more than one injection a day. I never broke out in a rash. I usually now try and use the O2 first, then go for the injection if it doesn't work.
