success with meds - knock on wood

well after 2.5 years of chronic daily ch i think i may have found a combination of drugs that works. i have literally tried 7 or 8 different combos. so what i'm on now is 480 mg of verapamil (240am, 240 pm) and 1000mg depakote ER at night. i used prednisone for about 16 days while the verapamil kicked in. got off it about 8 days ago and the headaches haven't come back. i've even gone out drinking!
so anyone else have good results with this combo of meds?
what about verapamil and topomax combo. i wonder if it would work as well because i'm gaining wait from the depakote and find myself a bit snippy and mean while on it. no worries though. i'll trade it for an absence of CH.
