An update to The EA Experience

This is an update to my previous post  'Shrooms: The EA Experience'

I'm still dosing weekly.  Over the past 11 days I have only experienced 2 relatively mild CH attacks.  I'm still getting strong shadows, so I don't think the cycle is over but I hope that it is finally diminishing.  But I don't want to get my hopes too high only to be disappointed. Previously my cycles were 6 or 7 months, but this one has lasted for a year.  Of course, I can't say definitively that shrooms have brought about this turn of events... I have no scientific proof.  However, I do believe that the shroom therapy is working, otherwise I would have never survived the past 2 months without any verapamil or imitrex.

My CH situation continues to improve.  I haven't had any CH attacks since Sept 23.  I still get shadows often, so I think that the shrooms haven't completely ended my cycle, but I think they are supressing the pain.  I will now try to stretch out my dosing.  I'll be skipping this evening's dose to see what happens.

Hey Eyes,

Glad to hear your plan of action seems to be paying off.
I hope the shadows will taper off soon.

Shrooms are working for me as well. The last dose I took to try and alleviate the shadows seems to have done the trick. Just a couple of twinges in my temple in the last week. I have a cold right now and I usually get nailed bad when I'm sick.

Take care,
Mitch

Damn.  A slight set-back.  I spoke too soon  Roll Eyes.  Woke up at 3:30 am with my first CH since Sept 23.  Had to re-dose.  Damn.

Eyes-

It's been five weeks since I had an attack.  I dosed a day after I got hit and have been fine ever since.

I've been able to stretch out my dosing to once a month.  And I don't dose until the symptoms return.  Hopefully I'll make it until next February or March until I need some "maintenance".

Glad to hear you are improving, brother!
