OK, I know their have been many posts regarding Sansert, but today my neuro prescribed it. I start with it tomorrow. I have been on Verapamil for 3 yrs and it didnt seem to stop this latest cycle. Am I going to start seeing music and hearing colors? Are the walls going to breathe? I have read of some of the LSD-type properties of this med and I am concerned. What is all this business about people taking shrooms? I'd like to run that one by my Neuro. Perhaps a trip to the deserts of Arizona and I can join some Native Americans and sit in on some Peyote-induced religious rituals. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sansert, in the dose used for CH, won't induce any hallucinations. It did space me out though. I felt like I was on the down elevator all day, walking 6 inches off the floor.

Over the last 20+ years I have been on Sansert many times for Ch's, never had a problem and I took some high doses. I would even once in a while take an extra dose to counter the effects of sneaking in a glass of wine or beer when I was not suppose to. Alcohol is a trigger for CH's when in cycle. Interesting to see what people have writen about his drug, but then again everyone is different and how they react to various drugs are different also. Would be nice if we were all the same, then we would not be spinning the wheel of drugs each time we go into a cycle to see what drugs work this time to prevent the CH's. I have had great success with a certain drug during one cycle and it was of no help during the next cycle.

Freddy -- Weird as it sounds, the shrooms are the real deal. Indole-ring hallucinogens psilocybin from mushrooms, LSD and some others, can wipe out entire cycles with only a few doses. don't know if peyote works for this. You don't need a religious experience if you use this treatment between cycles or at the very beginning of a cycle. Enough to get you about as high as two beers will do the trick. If you are chronic, or trying to break in on the beast in full cycle, you might have to take a little trip...and some chronics often must redose every week or month to keep the beast at bay. But it's not to be taken lightly...there's much to know. Drug interactions are a problem -- many cluster drugs, and I think Sansert is one of them, will interfere with the action of the hallucinogen. And of course you don't take this treatment before work if you're, say, an air traffic controller.... Psilocybin mushrooms are recommended over LSD, and it's recommended you grow your own for reasons of control and safety. It's not hard. Ok, thx. Due to early experiences in college yrs with shrooms, I think I will avert that possibility. But can anyone tell me how much of the Sansert I can take per day. I am supposed to take 2mg, 3X/day. Is that enough? -Freddy
