My husbands head throbs and he's a clusterhead. Not sure if that is because of the verapamil though or not. During an attack his head sometimes thumps, and then the severe pain comes and goes. Not sure if everybody is kind of like that or not. Michelle

I think you are confusing stress headaches with migraine...Migraine doesnt pulse... but i know stress headaches are like a hammer, like you see in a comercial for headache meds. My migraine is a long intense pain. My hubby has CH and he explains that like an ice pick stuck in the side of his eye temple face top of his head etc etc etc... He has horners syndrome with it and his eye contracts too. Hope this helps... Ree

According to the IHS... Migraine have a pulsating quality... That prolly explains it better than throbs, but I think most ppl use the two terms interchangeablely. PFDAN................... Drk^Angel
