Tell me ladies and gents.  Is it just me,,, or are there others out there that have a general malaise,, during their episodes?  I seem to be tired most of the time, partially because sleep is interuptted, have a constant shadow, and in general feel lethargic.  Is there anything one day do to alleviate some of these symptoms?

This is my fourth week,,, in a run that usually last 6 to 8 weeks.  Im on verapamil and imitrex,   and I do notice that the clusters arent as intense as they were in the past.  They are getting further and further apart, so maybe they're on their way out.  Just sick of feeling sick.

Absolutely Lorsman...

Fighting the beast zaps me of my energy....... when I have a few moments of respite when he isn't thrashing my head, I'm kinda in a funk... like a boxer sitting on his seat between the 11 and 12th rounds, just trying to get by....

I think that when you go on the high dozes of verapamil it will cause you to get very tired.  If I'm not mistaken verapamil will lower your blood pressure quite a bit and that is what is causing you to be so tired not to mention what it takes to fight one of the clusters.  Drink lots of water and try a good muti vit. also try to keep the same routine.  The Neuro just put me on a new drug and so far today I'm having great results.  I slept all night and didn't wake up with one.  I'm on DHE nose spray first then at night I take 2 clonazepam at night. So far so good.....I will let you know.....Sami
