The email read: I am waiting for an agreements with Pfizer (the industry producing Aricept) to gave information in USA. Rules of italian law inhibit me to indicate a "personal therapy". I only give general informations. Some news can regard in case Pfizer and USA law allowes a clearer information. You will contacted once again next month. Best regards Prof. Maria Nicolodi Sicuteri Will keep all of you posted on any more info I receive on it..smiles! ;D

Hey Nancy, hope yur feeling better. I sent my Neuro info on Sicuteri. I'm hoping it will "jump start" some kind of motivation and interest regarding ch. I think lots of neuros deal mostly with migraines. I'd like to see more doctors exhibit some enthusiasm about troubleshooting for ch disorder. I know, (and then I woke up).LOL. Hey, it could happen!

Hey Nancy! Hope you are as well as you can be. Pardon my ignorance, but does Aricept need to go through some sort of approval process before it can be prescribed to ch patients in the U.S.? I don't know how these things work, sorry. My neuro has some links to our Italian Dr. friend, and I was going to ask her what she knew about this therapy. -Rick

Rick, as far as my neuro is concerned...she said she can give it to me...she is at a Medical University which is a teaching hospital so they are more prone to experiment....but as far as the Doc in Italy contacting one of our neuros, they have to wait till they get approval or something...guess because Aricept has not been used for chs before..Plus, from what I understand, the Doc in Italy may be starting a new study here in the US with some neuro....anyway, will keep you guys posted when she writes again... ;D

Thanks Nancy ;D I'll just have to give my neuro a ring to get more details. I continue to experience disruption of my cycle with mushroom therapy, so I'm going to be sticking with that for a while. But it's always good to keep all options open. Keep us posted! -Rick
