Hi, I have cluster headaches and I am on medication right now. I will be having a followup with a neurologist. What do they do normally in a check up, anything to be concerned about. Bye Ramdas[flash=200,200]URL[/flash]

Ramdas, Checkups are usually to see where you stand regarding your headaches and your medication and to see if anything needs to be changed. We all hope that our neuros have this magic wand they are going to wave over us to make our ch's go away. What meds are you currently on? Are you chronic? What's your story? The best of luck to you..... NotH20

Hi, Thanks for the reply. I had a ch about 2 yrs ago. It has come back. I have had pain for 4 days in a row before I started taking medication. I am on Prednisone right now and also take the generic for Fioricet as a pain killer. As of the now the bouts of pain has reduced, I hope it goes away. I still fear when it is going to hit me. I hope things work out for the better. Bye Ramdas

If it's your first appointment with that neuro, he/she may also do a general neurological exam. Example: check out your muscle resistances, check reflexes, check your coordination. Mainly to make sure nothing else is really wrong. It's not a big deal.
